Belpre Health Centers
Challenge:Design a 45,000 sf office building for Memorial Health Systems in Belpre, Ohio. The client had services in one office building already, but the need for expansion and updated facilities merited the development of a new project. The current building had physician offices, some diagnostic services, oncology and urgent care. The new building would need all of these same services, and allow room for infusion to be brought to the oncology practice. Outcome:The final project includes a modern edifice with architectural features similar to the overall aesthetic of the previously designed campus buildings. The ground floor houses Urgent Care, Oncology with Infusion, and Medical imaging with Nuclear Med and CT. The second floor consists of four timeshares, three of which can support three physicians. The constructed Oncology Clinic is comprised of 14 infusion bays arranged in an arch configuration with pleasing views and plentiful natural lighting. In addition there are six exam rooms, a lab, blood draw station, pharmacy, and support space. The total center encompasses approximately 7,000 sf. Services:Operational Analysis, Services Demand Assessment, Budgeting, Programming and Space Planning, Healthcare Architecture and Interior Design. |
