Hospital Renovation
Challenge:Frederick Health Hospital is the sole hospital located in Frederick, Maryland and maintains several campuses in the area and surrounding communities. Frederick Health explored a number of system capital development initiatives, resulting in the need to develop a long-range phased master plan. Trinity was challenged to maximize bed capacity at the 7th street campus by adding 64 beds by 2020, as well as providing additional ancillary and support services. Outcome:Trinity introduced a campus revitalization and expansion project. Our final design accommodated multiple nursing units for the hospital which will serve as the new standard for transitioning the remaining 300 beds into an all private bed facility. Services:Trinity assisted Frederick Health in providing the necessary analysis, programming, planning and architectural services to reach consensus on the optimal long range planning direction and subsequent architectural implementation for the 7th street inpatient modernization. |
