Bone and Joint Surgery Renovation
Challenge:To modernize the surgery suite with rightsized spaces while improving workflow. In addition, improved care delivery and added capacity were needed to accommodate growing market demand. The renovation would need to take place while the facility remained operational through the 13 month construction process. Outcomes:Trinity planned and designed a new modern Surgery Department consisting of nine rightsized OR’s. Trinity also assisted the client in shifting from a periop model to a Pre/Post model which allowed for flex space based on volume demand. The work completed at Grant resulted in improved care delivery and increased capacity. In addition, the facility maintained operations throughout the 13 month construction process.
