Lakes of Medina Cancer Center

Challenge:

To bring oncology services to this growing area on the new Health Campus in Medina, Ohio.

Services:

Medical Planning, Operational Analysis, Services Demand Assessment, Budgeting, Programming and Space Planning, Healthcare Architecture and Interior Design.

Outcomes:

The Oncology clinic was designed for Medical, Gynecologic and Radiation Oncology services including Hematology. The clinic covers approximately 9,000 sf of space and includes areas for infusion, and beam radiation therapy. A linear accelerator vault extends from the northeast corner of the building while six infusion stations are aligned on the northwest with views to the outside. The clinic is completed with exam rooms, physician offices, pharmacy, lab and separate waiting areas.
