Orthopedics and Sports Performance Center
Challenge:The client needed to increase their service area for Ambulatory Services in an expedited and scalable manner. One of the goals was for a strong presence in the downtown Washington, D.C. area. This facility needed to accommodate several specialty clinics including a Sports Enhancement Practice. Outcome:Trinity performed initial test fit assessments for the evaluation of several building before deciding on the Lafayette Center. The final design created a 100,000 sf facility in two buildings – Lafayette Center 1 & 2. Building 1 houses the 20,000 sf sports enhancement center. Building 2 offers comprehensive outpatient services, physician timeshare spaces, an Orthopedic clinic, women’s center and an ambulatory surgery center. Trinity created design templates for the system and adapted them for the special needs of this facility.
