Riverside Women’s Center
Challenge:Provide updated planning and design services for Ohio’s second largest birthing center. Trinity was also challenged to create a facility able to handle high risk births. Outcome:Expansion and renovation of 21 LDR rooms with circulation re-configured to prevent public traffic through the unit. A Triage Center was also developed at the new reception point allowing substantially improved operations for labor and delivery. In addition, 62-bed post-partum and 14-bed antepartum nursing units were consolidated and completely remodeled to provide patient amenities and family areas.
